In the UK, business intelligence group Future Thinking has appointed John Dembitz as Group Chairman.

The group combines qual and quant market research with behavioural economics and advanced analytics help clients maximise sales and profit. It includes Future Thinking, with offices in the UK and France; Bulgaria's GemSeek and Dutch firm cQuest, acquired together two years ago.

Dembitz (pictured) joins with more than 45 years' experience, including senior positions with management consultants McKinsey and Deloitte. In addition, he served as Executive Director - Consolidated Goldfields/Amey Roadstone Corporation; Executive Director - Charterhouse Japhet; CEO Valin Pollen; and he and his brother set up IT consultancy IDOM, which they eventually sold to Deloitte & Touche in 1995. In addition, Dembitz is on the Boards of Titus International Group, Venquis, EAC Management, Cripps, Winmark Global, Pension and Lifetime Savings Association, and Coinfirm, either as Non-Executive Chairman or Non-Executive Director, and he has been Chairman or NED of several other businesses over the past twenty years,
