New York-based data-driven performance marketing company Fluent has hired former Infogroup exec Dan Hall as its first Chief Technology Officer.
Fluent engages a million consumers in daily conversations across its networking sites, learning who they are, what they want and what they are looking to purchase. This data is then used to match opted-in customers with relevant offers from its partners. The company now has a database of 'self-declared insights' from more than 150 million opted-in US consumers.
Hall (pictured) joins after a brief stint as CTO of former ORC International owner Infogroup. Before this, he was CTO at Yes Lifecycle Marketing; Senior Director CRM Analytics - West Region for Time Warner Cable; and he spent a decade at customer engagement technology provider Alterian, latterly as VP, Global Business Solutions.
In his new role, Hall will help the company diversify its products. CEO Ryan Schulke comments: 'We're thrilled to introduce our company's first CTO and to have a leader of Dan's stature join our leadership team. Dan's appointment comes at a critical juncture, as we enhance and scale our technology, product and data infrastructures to support our aggressive business growth. His strong engineering background and outstanding record of accomplishment as a thought leader in crafting and evolving technological strategy, is further augmented by his ability to play a key architectural role with the product development teams'.
