Multi-channel B2B database products and services company MeritDirect has promoted Karie Burt to SVP and Chief Privacy Officer.

Burt joined the firm in 2013 and has helped drive its B2B data-driven solutions, including ABM strategies with a specialty in global brands; as well as helping to launch its OmniChannelBase International solution. She took the role of Chief Privacy Officer in 2018, overseeing the company's own privacy matters as well as advising clients.

She is based in the firm's Rye Brook headquarters and reports to CEO Rob Sanchez, who comments: 'Karie brings extensive International Data Driven Marketing experience as well as knowledge and experience of data privacy issues and specifically how they apply to the international landscape'.
