Daryl BattagliaDigital audio and podcast data tech firm Triton Digital has appointed 22-year Nielsen veteran Daryl Battaglia as SVP / Market Development and Strategy in its Audience Research department.

Triton is a wholly owned subsidiary of the E.W. Scripps Company, with MRC-accredited measurement services. Battaglia joins from Nielsen where he arrived in 1997 as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, and served most recently as VP / Strategy and Innovation Lead in the ratings giant's Media Analytics arm. During his stay, he also worked as VP of Commercial Strategy in the Media Analytics arm, and VP/GM of Nielsen Tracking Services.

In his new role he will grow Triton's measurement relationships around the world, and lead innovation in its suite of audience measurement products.
