In New York, television measurement and analytics firm 605 has appointed former Yahoo! exec Jonathan Kalsched as SVP of Marketing.
The firm measures the impact of TV ads on consumer behavior, and offers a suite of advanced, data-driven measurement and analytics solutions, with its TV viewership dataset covering more than
21 million households across all 210 US markets. Earlier this month, the company made a 'strategic' but unspecified
investment in London and Dublin-based advertising technology, measurement and services business Adscribe.
Kalsched (pictured) joins from mobile ad targeting firm Amobee, where he served as VP, Advanced TV Product Marketing. Prior to this, he spent nearly eight years at Yahoo!, latterly as Director, Strategic Solutions, overseeing a team of twenty stategists, responsible for custom, cross-platform solutions for major advertisers. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Tribune 365, CNET Networks and Viacom.
In his new role, Kalsched is responsible for driving the organization's marketing, public relations and brand positioning initiatives. He reports to Noah Levine, Chief Revenue Officer, who comments: 'Jonathan is a marketing industry veteran with deep experience refining go-to-market strategies for publishers and brands across the advertising ecosystem. The expertise he brings to 605 in launching advanced TV products and cross-platform solutions will be invaluable to our team as we build on the momentum of
605 PLATF0RM and expand the measurement and analytics capabilities we offer our clients'.
