Raustin MemonIn the US, neuroscience-based audience research specialist MediaScience has appointed Raustin Memon as SVP Marketing and Growth.

MediaScience uses traditional, biometric and neuroscience tools to study conscious and emotional reactions to media and ads, from labs in Chicago, New York and Austin, TX. In January, the firm opened a tech-focused qual division, HARK Connect, led by former Ipsos exec Elissa Moses in the role of Managing Partner.

Memon (pictured) joins from The Bee Token, a San Francisco-based blockchain competitor to Airbnb, where he served as Head of Marketing. Prior to this he spent two years at Uber, launching Uber Eats in the Pacific Northwest market; and he co-founded and was CEO of two start-ups; a renewable energy biodiesel firm and a mobile app for restaurant dining.

In his new role, Memon will drive corporate growth into new business segments, and guide efforts in PR and direct marketing. He will work alongside former Uber colleague Phillip Lomax, who joined MediaScience in February as SVP of Business Development.
