Adam GuyIn New York, emotion and behavior insights platform Canvs has appointed Adam Guy as Executive Vice President of Sales & Customer Success.

Canvs uses a patented AI and machine learning platform to analyse 'one trillion expressions and more than ten billion conversations' and extract insight from text on social media, marketing campaigns and customer surveys. In August, the firm made its full range of solutions available for integration into other applications via an API.

Guy (pictured) joins with twenty years' sales, business development, and account management experience. Most recently, he served as EVP of Monetization and Client Delivery at AI technology solutions provider NTENT, prior to which, he worked for consumer data provider Neustar as VP of Business Development, Risk Solutions. Earlier, he held senior roles at Kantar-owned online behavior measurement specialist Compete, big data analytics software firm Zettics, Millward Brown Digital (now part of Kantar), and The Yankee Group.

In his new role, Guy will be responsible for leading and building out the sales team, and growing and developing client relationships.
