Carol HowleyLeeds, UK-based business intelligence, analytics and data visualisation software developer Panintelligence has hired former Skyscanner marketer Carol Howley as Vice President of Marketing.

Panintelligence's 'Pi' suite of software enables businesses to use data in almost any format, to trigger bespoke reports, visualise trends in real-time and drill down to the underlying data. A year ago, the firm raised £4.5m in a Series A funding round, which it has since been using for expansion globally, with a particular focus on the US.

Howley (pictured) joins from travel metasearch engine Skyscanner, where she worked for more than six years, latterly as Global Head of Marketing - B2B, in charge of ten growth marketing, lifecycle and communications managers. Prior to this she was Senior Marketing and Communications Manager for Marketing Edinburgh, Marketing Manager for Best Western Hotels, Strategic Advisor for The Whisky Lounge, and Marketing & Planning Consultant for the National Railway Museum.

Commenting on the appointment, co-founder and CEO Zandra Moore said: 'Carol is set to play a key role in helping us as we continue our journey to scale up and take a leading role as a disrupter in the business intelligence space.
