Fathi BalfasSoutheast Asia-based qual and quant marketing intelligence company Divergent Insights has appointed Fathi Balfas as Associate Research Director, based in Indonesia.

Divergent has offices in India, Singapore, South Korea and Indonesia, as well as a strategic partner in China, and a presence across Europe, APAC and the US through its consultants. Its services include online panels and panel management, automotive clinics, business and secondary research, social media analysis, and virtual reality consumer experience measures; and last year the firm launched a cloud-based, fully automated survey management tool called OSM.

Balfas (pictured) joins from IT services firm Lintasarta, where he served as Senior Manager - Marketing Research & Development, prior to which he worked for full service research agency InsightAsia as Associate Research Director - Quantitative. Earlier, he was an at research agency MARS Indonesia, and was a Quant SRE at Ipsos in Jakarta.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO Rajiv Kokane said: 'I welcome Fathi onboard, and I am sure his expertise will help clients achieve their business goals'.
