
Tel Aviv, Israel-headquartered consumer journey and go-to-market (GTM) analytics platform Konnecto has hired former Toluna exec Mark Simon as a Strategic Advisor.
Using machine learning, Konnecto's 'Reveal & Disrupt' platform gives marketers insight into their competitors' consumer journeys, while identifying threats and opportunities. The platform is used to provide competitive intelligence before launching a new product, and for customer acquisition and marketing strategy. Last year, the company raised
$3.5m in a seed round of funding, which it is using to increase its Data Science team and to expand into new verticals and geographies.
Simon, who is based in the UK, previously spent thirteen years at Toluna, latterly as its MD for North America, before which, he worked for Greenfield Online as Client Development Director, and he served as MD, EMEA at Datto. He is currently the co-founder of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory consultancy Traction Advising, which recently
advised on the sale of employee listening platform TINYpulse to employee wellbeing firm Limeade.
