Leeds, UK-based Blue Yonder Research has appointed Caroline Benfield as Associate Director in its Sense:lab specialist R&D insight division.

The firm combines an insights agency and an in-house tech incubator. Benfield joins from fellow northern success story DJS Research, where she spent four years, after fifteen at Swift Research - nine of the latter were working in R&D insights on a 'very diverse' portfolio of brands.

Sense:lab, opened in February this year with the aim of providing a single solution for global R&D insight. Its Director Kate Binner comments: 'I am thrilled to welcome Caroline to the Sense;lab team at Blue Yonder. Caroline is extremely experienced with FMCG brands in R&D technical insights and I am very excited that Caroline is bringing that wealth of experience to the team'.
