US-based youth and family researcher Smarty Pants has appointed Jethro Israel as a Research Associate, based in Palm Bay, Florida.

The company, which has headquarters in Johnson City, TN and offices in seven other US cities, works on brand positioning, new product development, consumer lifestyle and trend research. Israel (pictured) joins after serving as an Adjunct Professor of US History at Eastern Florida State College, before which, he was a high school History Teacher at Brevard County, Florida, having begun his career as the Dean of Student Advisement and Residential Life for educational non-profit New Jersey SEEDS.

In his new role, Israel will support the company's key educational, entertainment, and luxury accounts through all phases of the qual and quant research process. Commenting on the appointment, Business Unit Leader Emily Young said: 'Jethro is a gifted thinker, problem solver and presenter, and his work ethic and character are inspirational.
