February 22 2022

Tracey Kopper-HourinIn New York, Comcast Advertising has appointed long-time employee Tracey Kopper-Hourin as Senior Vice President of both Human Resources and Customer Experience. She succeeds Sandy Gunn, who announced recently that he would be retiring.

Comcast Advertising - the ad division of telecoms company Comcast Cable - develops connections between brands and their audiences as well as between publishers, distributors, MVPDs, agencies and other industry players. Kopper-Hourin (pictured) joins from Comcast Advertising media and technology arm FreeWheel, where she led HR for the global company as well as the strategic initiatives group. Before joining the group in 2006, she held HR roles at Eastern Research ADP, Decision One and Bell Atlantic Business Systems.

In her new role, Kopper-Hourin is responsible for the development and implementation of global HR initiatives, and overseeing the customer and employee experience for Comcast Advertising and its two brands: advertising sales division Effectv and FreeWheel across the US, Europe and Asia.

She reports to Marcien Jenckes, President of Comcast Advertising, who comments: 'Tracey is the right choice to lead Comcast Advertising forward at such a critical time in the history of workplace engagement, employee retention and professional development. I could not be happier that Tracey is now going to be able to share her talents across the entire Comcast Advertising organization and help lead us in shaping the right team for the next decade of success'.
