MESH ExperienceIn the UK, analytics and insight company MESH Experience has appointed recent graduate Javin Fletcher, expanding its Data Science function.

The company, which is based in London and also has offices in New York, collects and analyses data on people's experience of a brand, including all paid, owned and earned touchpoints. The firm's Real-time Experience Tracking (RET) approach aims to capture every encounter people have with brands 'in the moment'.

Fletcher recently graduated from the University of Leicester with a distinction for his MSc in Mathematics and Computation, and following his BSc in Mathematics. In between his BSc and MSc he worked at McLaren Racing, where he was a Rapid Prototyping Developer helping to design, 3D print and assemble the prototype parts for the McLaren F1 car. He also did an internship at McLaren as a Junior Finance Analyst; and an internship with Microchip Europe as a Data Analyst which included learning how to model the data requirements needed to support different business processes.

In his new role, Fletcher will work alongside Shane Baxendale, VP of Data Science, who previously collaborated with Professors Emma Macdonald and Hugh Wilson at Warwick Business School on topics such as how different touchpoints influence brand choice through the purchase journey. Founder and CEO Fiona Blades, comments: 'I'm delighted Javin is coming on board - it's a great time for him to join us as we have some exciting initiatives on data such as dashboarding. Javin's skills and enthusiasm will be a welcome addition to the team'.
