Jennifer GinelliUS-based youth and family researcher Smarty Pants has appointed Jennifer Ginelli as 'Insights Brainiac', working with the firm's healthcare, food and beverage, and entertainment clients. She is based outside Philadelphia, PA.

The company, which has headquarters in Johnson City, TN and offices in seven other US cities, works on brand positioning, new product development, consumer lifestyle and trend research. Ginelli (pictured) began her career as an MR Analyst at Kantar, specializing in ad testing and brand tracking studies for beverage, household and personal care brands. She then held the same title at Newman-Stein, before moving to BBDO Worldwide, leading creative development research, and then becoming SVP at Bates Worldwide. More recently Ginelli led her own marketing consultancy, working on brand identity and the creation of marketing content for small businesses and emerging brands.

Commenting on the appointment, COO Meredith Franck said: 'Jen is a seasoned pro who excels at marketing, consumer research and building brands. She is a gifted thinker and producer who adds tremendous value to our clients at every turn'.
