Celia Van WickelIn the US, confectioner Mars Wrigley has appointed former Kantar exec Celia Van Wickel as Global Director and Head of Omnichannel Analytics.

Chicago headquartered Mars Wrigley manufactures chocolate, chewing gum, mints, and fruity confections, distributing its brands - including M&M's, Snickers, Twix, Skittles, and Orbit - in more than 180 countries. The firm has a global headcount of approximately 30,000 and operations in around 70 countries.

Van Wickel (pictured) joins from Kantar in Atlanta, where she served as Senior Director, Digital Commerce, leading the team in strategy, planning and content development for eCommerce and omnichannel insights across the retail, channels, online pure-play and CPG industries. Earlier in her career, Van Wickel was Senior Research Analyst at Kantar-owned online ad and marketing campaign evaluation specialist Dynamic Logic. More recently, before Kantar, she worked client-side for The Coca-Cola Company as Senior Manager, DTC & eCommerce Shopper Insights; Mattel as Senior Manager Shopper Insights; and Lowe's Home Improvements and Walmart as Senior Manager Consumer Insights.
