Tifenn Dano KwanIn the US, digital analytics platform Amplitude has appointed Tifenn Dano Kwan as Chief Marketing Officer.

Amplitude describes its services as providing the answer to the strategic question 'How do our digital products drive our business?'. In May, the company launched an insights-driven customer data platform (CDP), which collects and analyzes event data with a built-in product analytics solution, avoiding the need for third-party analytics.

Dano Kwan (pictured) joins from data intelligence platform Collibra, where she served as CMO. Before this, she was CMO of Dropbox, and she held marketing leadership roles at SAP, including CMO of SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass.

In her new position, Dano Kwan will lead Amplitude's marketing strategy and oversee its Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, and Revenue Marketing teams. She will report to company President Thomas Hansen, who comments: 'As we scale our marketing organization, Tifenn champions everything we believe in at Amplitude. She has the perfect mix of operational excellence, a deep understanding of the needs of product and data leaders, and a strong product-led growth muscle. Tifenn is a leader of leaders, and I am thrilled to welcome her to the team.'
