British MR support services firm Research Runner has appointed Matthew Wood as Sales Team Manager, while Katie Holmes-Atkin has recently joined as Office Manager.

Launched in 2010 by former Opinion Health sales specialist Julian Haste, Research Runner offers business development consultancy services to market research firms. The company also helps with sourcing quotes for qual and quant projects, assisting on all methodologies for fieldwork including recruitment for focus groups and panels, and building online communities and panels.

Wood most recently served as Store Manager at JAR Communications, a franchise which operates O2 retail stores in the south of England. Prior to this he spent more than eight years at Virgin Media, where he was latterly responsible for two stores and managing a strategic Tactical team.

Holmes-Atkin joined earlier in 2022, after nine years at asset lifecycle management and information management services provider Iron Mountain, where as Digital Solutions Site Supervisor / Operations Manager she was involved in areas such as digital transformation, project coordination and customer service.

In a statement, the company said it is soon to announce plans to expand the business and to relocate.
