Marcoms consultancy Bastion US has appointed Dean Heacock as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.

Bastion US is a subsidiary of Australia's Bastion Agency, which comprises consumer research consultancy Bastion Insights and full-service marketing agency Bastion Amplilfy. Heacock (pictured) joins with 30 years' experience across all aspects of finance, accounting, business management and operations. He previously held financial leadership positions at more than a dozen marketing groups, including WPP, Wunderman Thompson and Young & Rubicam.

In his new role, Heacock will focus on acquisition assessment and due diligence as well as operational management and human resources.
