In the UK, user experience (UX) research platform dscout has appointed former Lucid / Qriously exec Callum Cranmer to support the expansion of the firm into the EMEA region.
Chicago-headquartered dscout captures thoughts, reactions, and behavior in moments, as they happen, enabling researchers to gather qual feedback in the form of video, voice, images, and text to understand how people experience products and services. Last year, the firm raised
$70m in funding, for use in market expansion, continued technology and product development, and hiring initiatives. It then acquired
Panelfox, a software platform to help researchers manage their recruitment process.
Cranmer (pictured) joins from financial API platform Fidel, where he was an Account Executive, having previously been a Client Partner at mobile wallet specialist Stocard. Earlier, he was Business Development Manager at programmatic sample platform Lucid (
acquired by Cint in 2021), and Sales Manager at location-based public opinion survey app Qriously (
acquired by
Brandwatch in 2019).
In his new role, Cranmer will support the company's ambitions to develop a footprint outside the US.
Ben Hogg, MD of International who was previously Lucid's MD, EMEA, comments: 'It's not often one gets the opportunity to work with someone as talented and experienced as Callum again, so I was delighted to welcome him aboard as we aspire to accelerate our growth into the European UX space.'
