In the US, multinational food group The Kraft Heinz Company has added Information Services Group (ISG) CFO Bert Alfonso to its Board of Directors and Audit Committee.

Alfonso (pictured) joined technology research and advisory company ISG in 2021 as EVP and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this he was CEO of brand licensing company Yowie Group; spent a decade with The Hershey Company in roles including CFO and President of Hershey International; was EVP and CFO of Cadbury Schweppes Americas beverages; and VP and CFO of the Adams Division of Pfizer. In addition, he has served on the Board of Directors of Eastman Chemical Company since 2011.

Miguel Patricio, CEO and Chair of the Board of Directors of Kraft Heinz, comments: 'Bert expands the Board's financial and public company accounting expertise. In addition, his experience in the CPG industry and in public company leadership roles will be an asset to the Board in its oversight of the company's long-term growth strategy'.
