Digital ransformation and operations management specialist PagerDuty has appointed former SurveyMonkey CIO Eric Johnson - not to be confused with current SurveyMonkey CEO Eric Johnson - as its Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Johnson brings experience in growing and leading global IT organizations. He has worked as CIO at SurveyMonkey for the past four years, with functional responsibility for business systems, collaboration infrastructure, enterprise data and security. Prior to this he worked as CIO and SVP at both DocuSign and Talend; and earlier he spent a dozen years at Informatica driving the vision and strategy for global off-shore support and delivery, and architecting support for migration to an SaaS platform.

In his new role he will oversee PagerDuty's critical IT infrastructure, data management and enterprise systems. He reports to CTO Tim Armandpour, who comments: 'Eric is the ideal CIO to further our mission to revolutionize operations and build trust. He is an executive with a proven track record including a deep knowledge of building and scaling IT organizations. I look forward to partnering with Eric to drive operational excellence and business value across our IT organization'.
