In the US, insights agency Human8 has promoted Chris Robson, who joined the company as co-founder of Deckchair Data, to Senior Director, Global Data Science.

Robson was previously Senior Director, Data Science, North America. In the new global role he will lead Human8's ongoing efforts to align and formalise its global capabilities. He and fellow Deckchair Data founder Scott Laing joined Gongos in August 2022 as their business was merged into the Gongos group - Gongos itself had joined Human8 - then known as InSites Consulting - in January of that year. Prior to Deckchair, Robson and Laing ran boutique analytics and insights consultancy Parametric Marketing, which was sold to ORC International in 2013. Earlier in his career Robson managed a global team of software developers at Hewlett-Packard.

Robson says of the promotion: 'Human8 has come together from a diverse set of fantastic companies - and within those there are many highly talented individuals and great client offerings. Data science is a team sport and I will be making sure that all of our great talent can be working together as part of the global team'.
