Ad tech company Viant has added entrepreneur, executive and investor Brett Wilson, the co-founder of TubeMogul, to its Board of Directors.
Viant's programmatic ad platform enables buyers to plan, buy and measure their investments. The company has previously partnered with the likes of
IRI and
Comscore, and acquired measurement and data collaboration firms including
Lockr, earlier this year.
Wilson brings the benefits of nearly thirty years' experience in technology, advertising and digital media, and played a key role in the pioneering programmatic firm - he was its President and CEO, leading it from launch in 2007 through an IPO in 2014, and subsequent acquisition by Adobe in 2016. Earlier he worked as a technology consultant at Accenture, and he is currently General Partner at AI and robotics startup investor Swift Ventures.
Viant CEO and co-founder Tim Vanderhook comments: 'We're excited to welcome Brett to Viant's Board as an independent director. His experience founding and scaling adtech companies, along with his work investing in the next generation of AI and automation, aligns perfectly with Viant's vision for the future. Brett's deep adtech and AI expertise will be invaluable as we continue driving innovation and accelerating our next phase of growth.'
