
US-based consumer researcher Smarty Pants has reappointed Nadia Bernal to its team, adding advanced quant expertise for its flagship toy, entertainment and CPG clients. She is based in San Jose, California.
Smarty Pants has headquarters in Johnson City, TN and offices in seven other US cities, and works on brand positioning, new product development, consumer lifestyle and trend research.
Bernal (pictured) rejoins the organization - with the title of Insights Brainiac - after leaving last year to pursue a Master's degree in marketing research from the University of Georgia, where she achieved the Student of the Year award, Academic Excellence award and Stewardship award. She first
joined Smarty Pants at the end of 2021 as an 'Insights Whiz,' focusing on survey design, field management and reporting; and before this she worked in the government, education and corporate sectors for employers including the IRS, National Park Service and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Her MMR from the University of Georgia builds on a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
