Independent ad tech company The Trade Desk has appointed Vinny Rinaldi as Vice President of Client Strategy & Growth, reporting to COO Vivek Kundra.
Headquartered in Ventura, CA, The Trade Desk has offices across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. The company offers a self-service platform allowing ad buyers to create, manage and optimize campaigns across formats and devices, and tapping integrations with major data, inventory and publisher partners. Last year it launched a free insights product,
OpenSincera, building on an
acquisition and giving clients, partners - and competitors - access to its detailed advertising metadata; and it partnered with consumer intelligence groups NIQ and MRI-Simmons to launch a new brand called
Consumer Canvas.
Rinaldi joins with more than two decades of experience leading marketing transformation initiatives for major brands. Most recently he was Vice President of Consumer Connections at The Hershey Company, and earlier he worked at Amazon, Google, GroupM and Dentsu. In his new role he will work with brands and agency partners to develop growth strategies based on the firm's tech and expertise; and will advise customers on emerging opportunities across connected TV, retail media, digital audio and other high-growth channels.
'The future of advertising belongs to marketers who can combine data, technology and human expertise to make smarter decisions,' states Jeff Green, CEO and co-founder of The Trade Desk. 'Vinny understands what it takes to help brands transform themselves for that future. He brings a unique combination of strategic vision, marketing expertise and customer focus that will help our clients thrive as AI reshapes our industry.'
