In London, former Nunwood leader James Walker is joining PwC-owned management consultancy Strategy& as Lead Partner - Demand Analytics, in charge of the firm's EMEA Customer Insight Marketing Analytics Center of Excellence.
Last month, PwC completed its acquisition of management consultancy Booz & Company, which changed its name to Strategy& and joined PwC's network of firms in 157 countries with more than 184,000 staff.
Walker (pictured) will join Strategy& on 12th May, as the firm focuses on helping clients develop their data and analytics capabilities, and develops its own tools and analytical techniques for data monetization, e-commerce analytics, segmentation and targeting. He will also work across customer analytics including segmentation, propensity modeling, and customer experience and loyalty; and will be involved in sales and marketing analytics, and consumer insights.
Walker's 25-year career to date has covered a range of analytics roles from brand equity and marketing mix modelling, to micro-segmentation and sales and marketing process improvement. He joins from global brand and marketing consultancy Prophet, where he led the Analytics practice; and before this served as MD of video crowdsourcing agency MOFILM. He spent just over a year at Nunwood, helping to transform the firm's consultative approach, client services and international strategy.
Earlier, Walker served as Global President of Accenture Marketing Sciences, running the division after the consulting giant bought his firm Edge Consulting in 2002; and he held various leadership roles at WPP, including leading J.Walter Thompson's global marketing analytics business, and helping launch media agency MindShare.
