Latin American Launches for comScore and Kantar

comScore and media measurement specialist Kantar Media IBOPE have partnered to launch a series of cross-platform solutions in Latin America.

Orlando Lopes and Alejandro FoskSince announcing their partnership in February 2015, comScore and Kantar have launched measurement services in Spain, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic.

The new LatAm partnership will kick off with the roll-out of TGI Clickstream. This will integrate data from Kantar's TGI product and media usage measure with data from comScore's MMX platform, which provides unduplicated accounting of audience size and demographics across multiple devices. TGI Clickstream is already available in the UK, France and Turkey, and will be launched in Brazil in 2016, followed by Colombia, Argentina, Peru and Chile in 2017.

Orlando Lopes, CEO of Kantar Media IBOPE, says the partnership will address an increasing need for cross-device measurement solutions in the region. Alejandro Fosk, SVP of comScore Latin America, adds: 'The proliferation of screens has made content consumption easier, but on the other hand, the way we measure this consumption has become more complex, and innovative approaches are needed to understand consumers, advertising and content'.
