Fiftyfive5 Expands Team in Christchurch

In New Zealand, insights consultancy Fiftyfive5 has expanded its team in Christchurch with the appointment of Niamh Buchanan as a Senior Consultant.

Fiftyfive5 was launched in 2010 by three former Directors of The Leading Edge: Karen Phillips, Mark Sundquist and Darren Kemp. In 2018, the firm merged with brand development and consumer insights agency GalKal.

Buchanan (pictured) joins with a fifteen year background in research and customer experience (CX), gained in New Zealand, Ireland and Australia. For the past year, she has run her own insights consultancy, prior to which, she worked for Meridian Energy as CX Insights Manager, Ergo Strategy as Senior Consultant, and Kathmandu as Customer Insights Manager. She began her career at The Leading Edge as a Senior Account Manager.

In her new role, Buchanan is tasked with further extending the Fiftyfive5 footprint across the South Island, while adding advanced qualitative, CX and strategic capability to the New Zealand team. She will also have access to the firm's research and strategy capabilities at its offices in Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne and Singapore.
