Alexa Nightingale Joins Opinium Management Board

London-based insights agency Opinium has promoted Alexa Nightingale to its management board after eight years at the company.

Opinium, which was founded in 2007, and also has offices in New York, offers qual and quant research and consultancy across five practice areas - brand and communications, product and service development, stakeholder, market intelligence and thought leadership. In addition, the company owns and manages panels of UK consumers, IFAs and small businesses, and runs an omnibus which interviews 2000 UK adults in each wave.

Nightingale (pictured), who joined as Research Manager in 2012, currently heads up the firm's financial services research as well as its Customer and Employee Insights practice. She was made an equity partner in 2017 and promoted to Research Director last November. Earlier, she served as Managing Consultant at TNS Research International, and a Senior Account Manager at GfK NOP.

In addition, Nightingale is part of the team working on the industry association-led Workplace Mental Wellbeing Audit, to assess the impact of the pandemic and inform support for the research sector, in partnership with the MRS, the Insights Association, and Australia's newly-renamed Research Society.
