Former Ipsos MORI Director Joins Cambridge

June 25 2009

In the UK, former Ipsos MORI and York Consulting executive Margaret Frazer has joined Cambridge Market Research as the Research Director of a new business unit that will focus on the development of the firm's client base in both the public and private sectors.

Most recently, Frazer was Principal Consultant at economic and management advisor York Consulting, in charge of operations in its Edinburgh office. For the eight years prior to this, she worked as Associate Director at Ipsos MORI Scotland, responsible for both social policy and corporate research. During her career, she has conducted UK and international consultancy work incorporating strategic marketing planning advice and implementation, and also spent four years specializing in research within the food and drink sector.

Frazer has an MA from Glasgow University and a postgraduate diploma in European Marketing and Languages from Napier University in Edinburgh. She is a member of both the Market Research Society and the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

In her new role, she will oversee the development and implementation of the business plan and the co-ordination of marketing activities for the new unit, while acting as a Director on a range of research projects.

Cambridge MR's MD Paul Beresford comments: 'Margaret's appointment comes at an important time in the company's development after a sustained period of growth. She has a strong track record of success and we were impressed with the depth of her knowledge and expertise.'

Founded in 1980, the full service agency currently offers quant, qual and sensory research for the food, drink and FMCG markets.
