Rep Data Launches Verified Intelligence Platform

November 3 2026

Rep Data has launched an end-to-end platform combining survey creation, participant sourcing, analysis and AI-powered automation, with data quality verified throughout. The firm has also rebranded.

New logoNew Orleans-based Rep Data was founded in 2019 by former Lucid and Research Now exec Patrick Stokes, and offers a centralized DIY sampling platform called Research Desk; and an anti-fraud software platform called Research Defender, which also matches respondents to relevant surveys. In the last quarter, in addition to launching a sampling integration and an MCP, the firm has appointed Adam Goddard as VP of Sales, EMEA and Melissa Dunn as EVP of Marketing.

The new Verified Intelligence Platform (VIP) allows researchers to design studies, source verified respondents, detect fraud and low-quality responses, and analyze results in one connected system. Users can manage research themselves using the platform or elements of it, or choose to work with the company's experts. The acquisitions of ReDem, OWL and SightX - all since the start of this year - add survey design, behavioral data quality assessment and advanced analytics to the firm's existing tech for sample sourcing and fraud prevention, as well as its curated participant network, and Rep Data says the platform represents 'a new category of research with data quality verified at every step and visible to customers.'

'Insights teams shouldn't have to make high-stakes decisions on questionable data or choose between quality and speed,' says CEO Stokes. 'We've built the only research platform that offers this level of capability, technology and transparency in one place.'

Verification is integrated and visible throughout the platform: this includes Research Defender's real-time scoring and blocking of low-quality sample sources; analysis and scoring of than 120 signals at the respondent level before and during surveys; scoring and flagging of responses against five criteria; and through automatic replacement of respondents during fieldwork. The system learns from each study, using results to retrain quality models; and embeds and supports agentic research workflows throughout the survey process.

The launch also introduces RepData's new brand identity, and web site at www.repdata.com , reflecting its expanded capabilities.
