Kantar Health Names China Leaders

Kantar Health has hired Scott Davies as General Manager of China, to direct the group's growth strategy in the region. Kelly Wong has also been appointed as Business Leader and Head of Research, China.

Davies joins with almost 20 years' experience in healthcare market research. Most recently, he worked at J&D Associates as a Consultant to pharma and healthcare clients in the UK. Prior to this, he was based in Hong Kong, serving as MD, Healthcare Asia for GfK Healthcare. He first moved to Hong Kong in 2000, as the Head of Healthcare Research for AMI Healthcare (now Synovate). Before this, he was Client Services Director at TNS Healthcare and Clients Service Manager at IMS Health.

'Scott is an ideal addition to our senior management group in China,' said Stephen Potts, Regional Director, Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa. 'He will help customers design research programs to ensure their success in this important region. I am thrilled to have Scott on board, and know he and Kelly will form a powerful, results-focused advisory team for our clients.'

For the last year, Wong has led TNS Healthcare's Shanghai business. In her new role, she will report to Davies, and be responsible for business development, as well as account and team management.
