Online panel firm e-Rewards has confirmed that its founder and current Chairman and CEO Hal Brierley will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board, after the firm has completed its acquisition of panel provider Research Now.
Brierley began his career in direct marketing thirty years ago, when he co-founded database marketing firm Epsilon Data Management. During his career, he has served as an external consultant for the design of American Airlines' AAdvantage frequent flyer program, was VP of Sales and Advertising for Pan American World Airways, served as SVP of Marketing for Continental Airlines, and launched customer loyalty specialist agency Brierley & Partners. He founded e-Rewards in 1999.
News of the £85.1m cash acquisition was confirmed on Friday, when it was announced that Research Now's CEO Chris Havemann will assume overall management responsibility for the enlarged e-Rewards Group, as CEO and a member of the e-Rewards Board.
'Chris has a proven track record leading a rapidly growing global company that has been customer-focused and has a reputation for consistently delivering high quality service to its clients around the world,' stated Brierley.
The two companies will continue to operate independently until the transaction is completed, Brierley added in a statement.
