Online audience data specialist Webtrends has released a new version of its flagship Analytics package, offering real-time data and alerts which trigger when key web site metrics reach, or fail to reach, pre-set targets.
Webtrends Analytics 9 promises to give busy marketers 'the ability to quickly and easily measure data on the go'. New features include real-time alerts providing analytics for current activity and comparisons with the previous 24-hour period and for 365 day traffic, delivered via a range of channels including email, RSS feed, SMS, and Twitter direct messages. The firm will also launch a native iPhone application with access to alerts and real-time data.
