MarketTools Promotes for Chief Development Post

Customer insight solutions specialist MarketTools has promoted Lynn Christensen to the position of Chief Development Officer, responsible for its software engineering, user experience, performance optimization, quality assurance and customer support teams.

Lynn ChristensenWith headquarters in San Francisco and London, MarketTools provides insight and feedback platforms, global panels and research innovation. Its portfolio of technology-based insight brands includes Zoomerang, CustomerSat, TrueSample, ZoomPanel, and ZoomPanel Tech.

Prior to her promotion Christensen, who has more than 25 years' experience of managing software development organizations, was VP of Engineering.

Before joining the firm, she served as VP of the corporate performance management, business intelligence, and governance risk and compliance suite of products at Oracle. During her career, she has also led software engineering teams at PeopleSoft and American Express.

'Lynn has a stellar track record of building and leading world-class technology organizations and instilling a culture of innovation,' stated CEO Scott Arnold. 'Her strong background in business intelligence, data warehousing and enterprise feedback management has already contributed a great deal to our technology-enabled research solutions, and will play an even greater role as we extend our product portfolio.'

Today, the firm has also announced that 2009 was its most profitable year on record, and reported a 28% increase in bookings in Q4 2009 over the prior quarter.
