Adenyo Hires Nielsen Veteran as Analytics Chief

In North America, mobile marketing software firm Adenyo has appointed Nielsen veteran Chris Matys as its Chief Analytics Officer, and former RIM exec Mark Wright as Marketing Director.

With operations in North America and Europe, Adenyo enables agencies, brands and mobile carriers to develop and measure fully integrated mobile marketing strategies and campaigns. The Dallas and Toronto-based firm recently raised $26.9m from both institutional and private placement funding, which it plans to use to promote international expansion.

Matys joins from Nielsen, where he began his career as a Programmer in 1985. During his time with the firm, he held numerous senior IT positions, including Chief Information Officer & Executive Director for Asia Pacific, with overall responsibility for the strategy, planning and execution of Nielsen's internal data factories and external client deliverables across 14 countries. In this role, he supported all the firm's business units including Retail Measurement, Consumer Panel, Consumer Research, and Media Measurement and Information services.

Additionally, Mark Wright joins Adenyo as Marketing Director, from Research in Motion, where most recently he worked as Director of Global Marketing Operations. While at the firm, he helped drive the expansion of global field marketing and training programs, led the global direct-marketing practice, and rolled out RIM's web and social media analytics discipline.
