Verve Appoints Two for Australian Expansion

UK-based Verve, specialist in customer advisory panels and online brand communities, has expanded its Sydney-based team with the appointment of Betty Mai as Partner, Australia and New Zealand; and Chantal Brady as Online Community Manager.

Betty MaiVerve was launched in 2008 by the founders of Research Now, Hall & Partners and the iD Factor - Andrew Cooper, Mike Hall and Jon Gumbrell. The company opened in Sydney - its first overseas office - last September.

Earlier this year, the company rolled out 'Verve Project'; a solution to enable clients to create closed branded panels or communities with their customers, to meet specific research project objectives.

Mai joins with more than 10 years' research experience. Most recently, she worked as Client Services Consultant, New Media at business intelligence firm Veda Advantage, prior to which she was a Consultant with telecoms and information services company Telstra. Earlier in her career, she spent ten years as Research Manager with ACA Research.

For the past four years, Brady has worked at Research Now - latterly as Associate Client Development Manager. Before this, she served as Field & Data Processing Assistant at consumer and product research consultancy Sensory Solutions.
