Four New Faces at Fast-Growing Opinium

London-based online agency Opinium Research has announced four appointments. The arrival of Jeremy Marshall, Paul Crooke, Gregory Absalom and Ross Leibbrandt will help the firm to expand following strong results in the summer.

James EndersbyThe company reported 31% year-on-year growth for the year 2009/10 in July, and says that all its research areas have seen growth in the first half of 2010, including its daily consumer omnibus, specialist B2B services, online customer panel optimisation offering and its political, social and economic MR services.

Marshall and Crooke join as Senior Research Managers. Marshall worked as a senior consultant at Enterprise Planning and Research, and previously as Director of Strategic Analysis at Nielsen Online. He brings 15 years of research experience and will soon launch a new unit helping clients to assess their web site versus those of competitors.

Crooke, who will be responsible for some of Opinium's key accounts, worked previously for the Tavistock Institute and Essential and has nine years of experience in the financial services and media research sectors.

Absalom joins from Research Now as Panel Manager and will play a key role in Opinium's online Panel Optimisation offering and grow its UK general consumer panel.

Leibbrandt, who joins as Business Development Manager, was previously MD of Sidaro Golf, which he helped to launch in 2009. He completed his MBA in 2008.

MD James Endersby says the round of hiring 'forms part of our aggressive growth strategy for 2010, as they join at an excellent time for the company as we start to bring an exciting mix of new products and increased capabilities.'
