Rapid Expansion for Cint in USA

Sample marketplace firm Cint has opened offices in Los Angeles, Princeton and San Francisco and is moving to larger premises in Atlanta and Toronto to accommodate its expanding sales and operations teams in North America.

The news follows Cint's recent announcement of $13m in funding earlier this month, which has been earmarked for expanding the business in both new and existing markets, extending its product portfolio and strengthening its team.

Cint, which is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, provides market researchers with fully automated access to panels of 4 million profiled individuals across 40 countries. In addition to its offices in the US and Canada, the firm also has operations in Spain, Denmark, Russia, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK.

'Global revenues in 2010 already show organic growth of 80% over 2009, and with the expansion capital we will be able to further accelerate our plans in North America and beyond,' explains Richard Thornton, Global Sales Director.

Michael McCrary, MD for Cint North America, has also welcomed six new employees to the team, and plans to recruit a further 14 by November.

Three of the new hires are Grant Miller as a Director of Client Development across the US and Canada; former Mintel executive Mary Williams as a Director of Client Development for Chicago and the central region; and Ryan Jay, previously with Toluna, as a Director of Operations in the Los Angeles office.
