Synovate Hires Head of European Oncology Monitor

In the UK, Chris King has joined Synovate Healthcare as Head of the European Oncology Monitor.

Oncology is the single largest therapy area within Synovate Healthcare. In 2008, the firm acquired US research agency Oncology Inc, to incorporate its proprietary research solutions into Synovate's own global oncology portfolio.

Additionally, last year, the firm expanded the reach of the monitor to eight new markets in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

King joins from Datamonitor, where he served as a Senior Consultant. Prior to this, he worked with Novartis Vaccines, and spent six years at the British Columbia Cancer Research Centre.

In his new role, King will be overseeing the daily operations, staff management and client servicing for the firm's European Oncology Monitor business.
