SurveyMonkey Adds Respondent Incentives

March 24 2011

US-based DIY survey firm SurveyMonkey has partnered with online loyalty program specialist ePrize, to enable survey creators to provide their respondents with a variety of incentives such as coupons and sweepstakes in exchange for participating in studies.

Dave GoldbergFounded in 1999 and headquartered in Palo Alto, CA, SurveyMonkey offers self-service, web-based solutions allowing businesses, academic institutions and individuals to create surveys and collect and analyze results.

ePrize helps clients motivate consumers through campaigns ranging from online sweepstakes to global points-based loyalty programs.

The partnership provides all US-based SurveyMonkey survey creators with tools through which to motivate their respondents. For a fee of $15 per incentive, SurveyMonkey clients can add incentives to their surveys, such as sweepstakes offering prizes from £25 to $500, instant wins of up to $100, and printable coupons.

'After carefully examining what our customers were trying to do themselves, we wanted to remove the issues associated with running sweepstakes, and make incentives easy and more accessible,' explains Dave Goldberg (pictured), CEO of SurveyMonkey. 'With the help of the ePrize promotional platform, we have ensured that our customers have an ongoing way to encourage their customers to participate and respond to their surveys.'
