Upgrade and European Opening for Clarabridge

Text analytics specialist Clarabridge has released a new version of its 'Tower' software, and formally opened its EMEA headquarters in West London.

Clarabridge has its headquarters in Reston, VA and offices in San Francisco and Boston. Software industry veteran Darren Jaffrey was appointed in March as General Manager for the new office, which was officially launched today with a celebration at the British Library.

Jaffrey is the former COO of talent management start-up MrTed, and also served as SVP at Taleo.

The new product release, Clarabridge 4.5 'Tower' includes embedded connections to several major social media sources and full NLP in French and Portuguese (English and Spanish are already available). Other new features are advanced sentiment analysis, an API with improved real-time access to multiple verbatims, improved security and admin, and new report and dashboard options.

Jaffrey says consumers are using a host of new media to provide feedback, as well as increasing their use of more traditional media, forcing companies to take a broader view of customers 'across cultures, time zones and media'. Company President and CEO Sid Banerjee comments: 'By embedding a host of social media source vendors and expanding the multi-lingual reach of our platform, we're enabling our customers to be truly global in listening to the voice of their customers.'
