DemandTec Adds Shopper Insight Services

In the US, DemandTec - which provides consumer demand management software and analytics - has launched three new services, including an embedded shopper insights dashboard which provides forecasts for defined shopper segments.

Marc DietzThe firm, which works with both retailers and consumer products manufacturers, acquired predictive analytics software developer M-Factor earlier this year.

The new services are dashboard offering 'End-to-End Promotion Management'; 'Connect' - a system of moderated user groups designed to facilitate peer collaboration; and 'Decisions', which helps clients schedule and visualise price and promotion activities, and provides new performance metrics.

VP of Marketing Marc Dietz comments: 'This release brings exciting and unique components of the DemandTec vision: shopper insights at the point of decision and strengthening peer and trading partner collaboration on the network'.
