Research Rockstar Rolls Out Diagnosis Tool

In the US, Research Rockstar - which delivers training to buyers and users of market research - has launched SurveyGrader, a self-diagnosis tool to help users assess the strengths and weaknesses of their market research questionnaires.

Kathryn KorostoffResearch Rockstar was launched in 2009 by industry veteran Kathryn Korostoff, who previously owned qual/quant agency Sage Research and then sold it to Chadwick Martin Bailey.

The new tool has been developed to enable novice designers to identify a survey design's strengths and weaknesses. The free solution provides instant feedback on survey design, through the use of a series of eleven questions, which Korostoff says take just ten minutes to answer.

'We've all seen questionnaires that make us cringe, with biased wording, illogical answer options, onerous instructions, or boring content,' she states. 'With SurveyGrader, even first time survey designers get a free sanity check before they start data collection.'

The tool is offered through SurveyMedic, Research Rockstar's specialist division which offers services to support the survey design process.
