Rosenberg Joins IPG as Joint Leader of Media Lab

In New York, media innovation agency IPG Mediabrands has appointed David Rosenberg as Managing Partner. Together with former BBDO digital strategist Chad Stoller, Rosenberg will lead the firm's 'immersion and exploration center', IPG Media Lab.

David RosenbergThe 5,000 square foot lab, which launched last November, provides a venue where clients and IPG staff can collaborate on technology-enabled marketing programs and data systems.

It features two audience measurement solutions which use facial recognition - Affectiva, designed to measure a consumer's emotional response to products and media; and TruMedia, which analyses audience size along with gender and age.

Rosenberg joins from social gaming start-up Guerillapps, where he served as an Advisor. Prior to this, he was Director of Innovation at digital agency LBi US and Director of Emerging Media at JWT. In his new role, he reports to Chief Innovation Officer Quentin George.

Mediabrands' Senior Communications Coordinator Stephanie Morillo says Rosenberg will work in tandem with Stoller - who joined the firm last autumn - on all the things related to the lab, with the former focused on the business side and the latter on innovation.
