January 18 2012

Global information services giant Experian has partnered with IT firm Hitachi Consulting to add a cloud-based solution called Site Analytics to its Experian FootFall visitor analytics solution. The combination will deliver site and store-network performance measurement.

Step change? Experian upgrades Footfall serviceExperian FootFall helps clients understand their retail sites by providing audited, managed and advanced retail intelligence based on measured visitor behaviour.

The firm says that by adding Site Analytics, FootFall clients will have access to a 360 degree view of their retail site performance, enabling them to focus on improvement areas and forecast performance in their stores. Experian says benefits will include improved store profitability, better conversion rates and identification of staff to customer ratios for optimum customer service.

Mike Roberts, Experian's Director of Product Management and Development, comments: 'We saw an opportunity to use our understanding of count performance as a launch pad for providing much broader insight around site performance. Hitachi Consulting has deep sector know-how in the retail arena, and provided us with expert guidance in delivering our next generation FootFall solution.'
