Forrester Revenues up 13% in 2011

Technology specialist Forrester Research has reported an 11% jump in 2011 fourth quarter revenue to $74.7m, up from $67.1m in the prior year period. For the full year, revenue increased 13% to $283.6m from $250.7m in 2010.

George ColonyRevenues for the firm's Research Services division rose to $50.5m in the three months ended December 31, from $45.4m in Q4 the previous year, and to $191.6m from $168.5m for the full year.

On a GAAP basis, net income rose from $4.1m to $8.9m for Q4, and from $20.5m to $23.0m for the full year.

Chairman and CEO George Colony says the company has realigned its sales force for 2012, to simplify the sales process for customers and to increase sales productivity. He adds: 'Our 2012 operating margin guidance reflects the incremental costs of facility and technology investments in 2011 and 2012.'

Forrester is predicting revenues of $68.5m to $71.5m for Q1, and between £308.0m and $316.0m for the full year.
