Research Now Upgrades D&B-based B2B Tool

Online sampling and data collection specialist Research Now has enhanced its D-U-N-S Number-based b2b screening tool with data on B2B respondents in Canada, France, Germany and the UK, available to North American clients.

Kurt KnaptonThe tool was launched in the autumn on Research Now's US business panel. D&B's D-U-N-S numbers (Data Universal Number System) are nine-digit numeric identifiers assigned to each business in the D&B database, helping to identify and track more than 202 million businesses worldwide. Respondents on Research Now's global panels now have D-U-N-S numbers and SIC codes attached, which clients can use to link back to their own data for further analysis and segmentation.

If clients do not currently have the D-U-N-S Number integrated into their data, they can work with D&B to cleanse and match it.
