Retail data specialist dunnhumby has hired former MicroStrategy exec Nishat Mehta to drive the global expansion and commercialization of its solutions as EVP, Global Partners, based in New York City.
Dunnhumby, which also includes Word of Mouth marketing specialist BzzAgent and price optimisation company KSS Retail, analyses data from more than 350 million people in 28 countries, to help retailers and brands target customers and enhance loyalty.
Mehta spent fifteen years at MicroStrategy, most recently as Vice President, Social Intelligence, driving its entry into social analytics and building its partner program to over 150 partners in five years. He graduated from Harvard University with a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics. In his new role, he takes charge of digital advertising, targeting and measurement, through strategic partnerships with consumer behavior data companies.
